Shears are a tool used to obtain Wool from sheep, excavate leaf blocks from trees and harvest leaf blocks which are able to be placed.
Shears are crafted in the tools tab, and can be found under the icon for flint and steel. Shears require two iron ingots to craft and thus do not require a crafting bench. Shears are also able to pick up Tall Grass and Vines.
